Ikigai | My Purpose
If you’ve made it to this section of my website, I want to thank you for taking the time to get to know me a little better. Here, I’d like to share my purpose: transforming the beauty of small details and the inspiration of nature into graphic designs that deeply connect and bring visual stories to life.
At the heart of everything I do as a graphic designer lies my ikigai: my reason for being and the driving force that gives meaning to both my professional and personal life.
But what is ikigai? Ikigai is a Japanese concept that means “reason for being” or “what makes life worth living.” It sits at the intersection of four fundamental pillars: what you love, what you’re good at, what the world needs, and what you can be rewarded for. It’s a balance between passion, mission, vocation, and profession.
My ikigai is built on this union, inspired by the Japanese philosophy of ‘komakai’. For me, every project is an opportunity to honor the beauty of small details, find harmony through minimalism, and establish order that brings clarity and purpose.I believe that well-executed simplicity not only enhances the message but also creates an emotional connection that turns each design into a unique piece of art.
I love nature, art, and connecting with the essential. As a plant lover, a bird enthusiast, and an admirer of outdoor walks, I draw inspiration from the organic patterns, textures, and colors of the natural world. These elements translate into my work as designs filled with meaning, freshness, and life.
