AOVE del Río

Project Introduction

AOVE del Río, a cooperative oil producer located in the fields of Arjona, in the Jaén countryside, sought to launch an innovative line of artisanal chocolates made with their early harvest Picual extra virgin olive oil. This oil, renowned for its excellence and flavor, became the distinguishing element of the chocolates. The project’s goal was to convey the values of craftsmanship and excellence, reflecting both the family tradition of the cooperative and the exceptional quality of their product.

Creative Concept and Process

The packaging design faced the challenge of representing the variety of flavors within the chocolate line. Drawing inspiration from the concept of craftsmanship, I incorporated cacao beans into the design and opted for pen-style graphic illustrations. This approach emphasized the idea of a product carefully handcrafted. To complement the artisanal aesthetic, the packaging was printed on kraft paper, whose natural texture and warm tone enhanced the contrast with the chocolate-colored design, emphasizing the product's connection to its origins. The final artwork was meticulously prepared for printing, ensuring attention to detail in colors, finishes, and die-cuts.

Results and Impact

The final design successfully captured the essence of AOVE del Río, positioning their chocolate line as a unique product in the market. The packaging reflected quality, tradition, and care in every detail, highlighting the exclusivity of early harvest Picual as the main ingredient. Additionally, the visual identity created allowed for easy differentiation between the various flavors, resulting in an engaging and functional experience for the consumer. This project solidified AOVE del Río’s image as an innovative brand that blends tradition with creativity.
